There's nothing I enjoy more than getting out in the great outdoors and looking for snakes to photograph, also known as
"field herping". I like to go out to wooded areas or grassy plains and look under trash, debris, logs, and rocks. There's never
any telling what you'll find when you lift something up: venomous snakes, possums, rats, mice, rabbits, bees, lizards, etc. I've
been lucky and haven't lifted up something to find an angry skunk...yet! Click below on the year for pictures from 2008 and
